LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tori Spelling clarified that her family had never "lived" in an RV despite her financial woes, adding they only chartered the trailer for “summer vacation.”

During the premiere episode of her new 'Misspelling' podcast, the 50-year-old shared an incident about how her 15-year-old daughter Stella’s classmates thought her family was “homeless” after they were pictured in the RV on several occasions last year.

Tori Spelling on what her daughter Stella told her

“My daughter is like, ‘People already talk about us at school. They know you and they know the family and they read the press,” she recalled, per Page Six.

“She had someone come up to her at school and ask, ‘Are you in the school district, or where does your RV park? Because you live in an RV with your mom right?” Spelling narrated.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the actress also remembered dialing her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, to let him know that she had filed for divorce.

Although Spelling didn't disclose what McDermott said in the call, she revealed their fight over who should have filed first before they separated nine months back.

“They’ve done it. It’s the formality. It’s just the one sheet you check off, and next you’ll have to sign it,” she informed McDermott.

“Wait, it’s gonna be spun what way? That I’ve had enough of you? What? What do you mean? In all honesty, after this whole journey, if it’s about… who files first, the other person is wrong, I feel like I deserve to file first then,” she stated.

“You basically put it out there with Daily Mail and said everything you’ve done to me over the years, so I think it makes perfect sense that it followed up that I would file,” she added, referencing McDermott’s tell-all interview last year.

The former couple, who share kids Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven, ended their marriage in June last year.

It was reported at that time that Spelling moved into several rental homes and cheap motels, before settling in the RV for a time over the summer.

However, the family is now living in a lavish five-bedroom, three-bath home in the San Fernando Valley, California, as per the Daily Mail.

As of now, McDermott has moved in with his new girlfriend Lily Calo at the beginning of 2024.
