NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the March 12 episode of 'The Megyn Kelly Show,' Megyn Kelly strongly criticized George Stephanopoulos, alleging hypocrisy and accusing him of engaging in "rape shaming" towards Republican Rep Nancy Mace.

During a recent interview, Stephanopoulos questioned Mace about her support for Donald Trump despite his past legal troubles regarding sexual assault allegations.

Mace, herself a survivor of sexual assault, responded, saying, "As a rape victim, who's been shamed for years now because of her rape. You're trying to shame me again."

Following the events, Kelly strongly rebuked Stephanopoulos, cynically implying that he merits an "Oscar for Sanctimonious Leftists Pretending They are Better Than You."

Stephanopoulos' prior role as communications director in the Clinton White House was mentioned, with claims that he "established a complete command center aimed at discrediting Bill Clinton’s accusers of sexual assault and rape."

Kelly emphasized that many victims of sexual abuse choose not to come forward because they are afraid of facing negative social and professional consequences.

Kelly told her Sirius XM podcast viewers, "That is a very real concern. It happens all the time. Which you know. Because you invented it. Remember?"

She added, "When you created a whole command center designed to smear Bill Clinton’s sexual assault and rape accusers so you could elevate him to the presidency!".

She also said, "The lifelong Democrat took to his Sunday show yesterday and decided to really press Republican and Trump-endorser Nancy Mace on how on earth she can support a guy who’s been found liable of sexual assault, especially when – as he pointed out to Mace – she is a rape survivor!"

"It’s such an opportunity when you can use a woman’s rape against her!... What a kind, sensitive man who clearly cares deeply about women and their sexual assault allegations," Kelly further noted.

"Thank you for being an ally, George. I see how concerned you are that victims might not come forward if they are publicly attacked by their rapist or his defenders," the journalist added.

Kelly exposes Stephanopoulos' role in Bill Clinton's 'War Room'

Kelly proceeded by alluding to Stephanopoulos' engagement during his tenure with Bill Clinton.

She brought up the attorney who represented numerous of Clinton's accusers, emphasizing Stephanopoulos and James Carville's purported involvement, allegedly under Hillary Clinton's direction, in establishing a "War Room" to undermine women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct.

Kelly pointed out the existence of the documentary 'The War Room,' which chronicles Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign and prominently features Stephanopoulos and Carville.

Nancy Mace, who herself was a victim of sexual assault at the age of 16, has expressed that this personal experience serves as a driving force behind her advocacy for women's issues.

The segment of the interview drew criticism for Stephanopoulos on social media platforms.

In light of Kelly's statements, users flooded Twitter with reactions, writing, "This is Megyn at her very best!!! George is a very little man and a first-class hypocrite. @ABC hope your ratings continue to tank."

Another viewer echoed Kelly's sentiment, asserting, "Stephanopoulos is a tool created by and owned by the Clinton’s."

Another viewer said, "Absolutely fire him yesterday. Give Nancy Mace his show to make up for this ridiculous travesty."

"Love, Megyn Kelly. And she's spot on, as always," said another supporter.

"(Fire) from @megynkelly . @GStephanopoulos should be fired for the disgusting way he treated Nancy Mace AND all of Bill Clinton’s victims," wrote another user.

Trump found liable for defamation in E Jean Carroll case

Jurors delivered a verdict in under three hours after a two-week civil trial, during which former President Donald Trump testified for a mere three minutes.

The trial focused on remarks Trump made in 2019 in response to allegations from E Jean Carroll, who accused him of assaulting her in a dressing room at the Bergdorf Goodman store in New York nearly thirty years ago.

In May, a jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse based on these comments.

Donald Trump was ordered to pay $83.3 million for defamation after he publicly denied allegations of sexually abusing E Jean Carroll in a department store dressing room in 1996.

Nancy Mace, who previously expressed opposition to Trump and even stated a desire to be a symbol against him, reversed her stance in January and endorsed Trump over her longtime ally Nikki Haley.

Mace's position shifted dramatically from declaring "His entire legacy, was wiped out yesterday" on January 7, 2021, to asserting "Trump’s record in his first term should tell every American how vital it is he be returned to office" on January 22, 2024.

Despite Trump's past endorsement of Katie Arrington over Mace in the 2022 primary, he has now thrown his support behind Mace.

However, during a rally in South Carolina in that same year, Trump criticized Mace, referring to her as "crazy" and a "terrible person."
