She was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on March 6 for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Prosecutors are pushing for the maximum penalty of 18 months in state prison, according to reports.

She referred to them as “idiots” and “a*******” and expressed frustration over the length of time they took to deliberate, NBC News reported.

Gutierrez-Reed also stated in the phone calls that she would not testify in actor Alec Baldwin’s upcoming criminal trial if "subpoenaed," and expressed her desire for him to be jailed as well.

“Hannah wants them to put Alec Baldwin in jail also,” prosecutors wrote in the filing according to the outlet. “She shouldn’t be subpoenaed if Baldwin didn’t show up for her."

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed complains 'Rust' shooting has affected her career

In the filing, Gutierrez-Reed has complained the 'Rust' shooting which killed Halyna Hutchins after a prop gun that Alec Baldwin was holding shot a live round has "negatively affected her life and modeling career."

However, the prosecutors as per the publication say she has not expressed any "genuine remorse at any time," in the filing.

Prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis argue that these comments demonstrate why Gutierrez-Reed should not receive a conditional discharge, which her lawyers have been advocating for.

Internet blames Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and Alec Baldwin equally

The Internet reacted strongly to Gutierrez-Reed’s comments while also weighing in for jail time for Alec Baldwin.

One user wrote, “If the evidence against her was sound, then she has no one to blame but herself.”

Another commented, “And the actual shooter walks free! This country is fked up," referring to Alec Baldwin.

Yet another stated, “You are the armorer! Stop using excuses. You are the responsible party to ensure safety of your items. You failed!”

Others pointed out that Baldwin also bears responsibility, with one user writing, “Baldwin needs to accept the responsibility, he pulled the trigger and should not have, all he had to do was check the weapon,” and another added, “It was her fault. Her job. All on her.”
