Simon Guobadia accuses 'RHOA' star and estranged wife Porsha Williams of bringing 'armed gunman' to marital home
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Simon Guobadia fired back in the court a month after his ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star wife Porsha Williams filed for divorce in February.
In his recent court filings, the 59-year-old businessman accused his estranged wife of bringing an “armed gunman” to their former marital home after Williams filed for divorce last month.
Simon Guobadia fires back at Porsha Willaims
According to the court documents obtained by Page Six, Guobadia claims that the 42-year-old reality TV star “abandoned” their home once. She later returned with “a man visibly bearing a gun for reasons unknown to [Guobadia].”
Williams allegedly brought the same man on two occasions, claimed Guobadia.
He explained that the first occurrence happened on March 21, when he called the police to “maintain the peace.”
Guobadia further alleged that in another instance, Williams had “third parties” to call and harass Guobadia and his family members “in an effort to force them out.”
The entrepreneur alleged that around March 24, Williams made a “forcible entry” into their marital home with her mother and mother’s boyfriend. Upon their forced entrance, Guobadia claimed Williams and the group allegedly disconnected the security cameras and “tampered with items and evidence.”
Requesting a restraining order against his former wife, Guobadia wrote in the suit, “[Williams’] behavior has caused safety concerns, especially since there are minor children — [Guobadia’s] children — currently living in the Marital Residence.”
The businessman further claimed in his filing that the ‘Porsha's Family Matters’ star took “calculated steps” to marry him. He alleged that she filed for the divorce just a year after their marriage to “intentionally trigger” parts of their prenup for “personal financial gain and greed.”
Porsha Williams filed for divorce in February
Porsha Williams and her entrepreneur beau tied the knot in November 2022 in a series of two marriages. After the marriage following a Nigerian custom and tradition, they performed another American ceremony in Atlanta.
However, in February 2024, the ‘Real Housewives’ alum filed for divorce from Guobadia in a courthouse in Atlanta, per People.
While the cause of their split was not known, an insider shared that the reason for their separation was an “ongoing matter.”
The separation comes against the backdrop of rumors swirling online about Guobadia's citizen status. However, the source clarifies that the divorce is "unrelated to recent allegations involving Simon's past."
