Simone Biles embarks on exciting career with new venture after Olympic success
HOUSTON, TEXAS: Simone Biles, who had a successful stint in the 2024 Paris Olympics, will soon be opening a restaurant in Houston called 'Taste of Gold,' the George Bush Intercontinental Airport announced in a press release on Monday, September 23.
Fans traveling through the airport can locate where the restaurant is being constructed, as it is marked with a mural of the US flag and silhouettes of a gymnast flipping through the air, per Parade.

The press release read, "Passengers at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) will soon dine like an Olympic Gold medalist. Simone Biles - a world-renowned gymnast and Houston native - is developing a new restaurant, Taste of Gold, in partnership with The Playmakers Group."
It added, "The collaboration is set to enhance the diversity of culinary options at Bush Airport, which welcomed 46.1 million passengers in 2023 and ranks among the Top 10 World’s Best Airport Dining Experiences in 2024."
It further mentioned, "Taste of Gold will celebrate Biles’s remarkable global achievements. The chef-crafted menu will feature signature food and beverage items curated by restaurant industry innovator Mark Brezinski and created to ‘wow’ every traveler."
Biles also talked about her new venture and said, "I am a foodie at heart, and our hope with Taste of Gold is to offer a beautiful dining experience that features award-winning, signature menu items with some of my favorite flavors sprinkled in for our guests."
Derek Missimo, the restaurant's managing partner called Biles "the ultimate symbol of excellence" citing "her incredible achievements, inspirational leadership, and spirit."
He added, "We are incredibly honored to partner with her on this restaurant which will offer something truly special to our guests and the Houston airport community." The restaurant is scheduled to open near Gate A8 in the first quarter of 2025, per the press release.
Simone Biles flaunts her new 'Made in Heaven' tattoo
Simone Biles was recently seen flaunting her new 'Made in Heaven' tattoo which she got inked at the back of her neck, per US Weekly. Her tattoo artist, Sydney Smith, posted the artwork on social media, which was later shared by the Olympic gold medalist on her Instagram.

That's not all, she also got a small "J" tattooed on her ring finger as a tribute to her NFL star husband, Jonathan Owens. Smith also shared a short video of her revealing the inked letter on Biles' finger.

Several Simone Biles fans gave their best wishes to the Olympic gold medalist as she will soon be opening a restaurant in Houston called 'Taste of Gold.'
