Simone Biles’ fans mock MyKayla Skinner after she makes history with second all-around gold at Olympics

PARIS, FRANCE: Simone Biles supporters brutally trolled MyKayla Skinner after the former won another gold medal at the 2024 Olympics on Thursday, August 1.

The 27-year-old gymnast made history by emerging victorious in the individual all-around final for the second time. This came after she led the US women's gymnastics team to win gold in the team competition, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Biles won her first Olympic all-around title in Rio 2016 and has now become only the third woman in history to earn the sport’s most prestigious title more than once.

Following the Tuesday, July 30, win, Simone Biles appeared to throw shade at MyKayla Skinner after she questioned the team, consisting of her, Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, and Jordan Chiles.

Skinner had reportedly said, “I feel like the talent and the depth just isn't like what it used to be. The girls just don't have the work ethic.”

Seemingly hitting back at Skinner, Biles shared on Instagram, “Lack of talent, lazy, Olympic champions ❤️🥇🇺🇸.”

However, it appears that’s not enough as soon after Simone Biles’ second win, her fans started mocking MyKayla Skinner.

“The Mykayla Skinner hate goes deeper. Skinner would repeatedly use racial slurs when they were at competitions. Apparently she and Simone Biles were never allowed to room together at major competitions for 5+ years for Simone’s safety,” someone else stated.
