Simone Biles' Olympic win honored with sweet surprise at iconic steakhouse amid Packers jacket controversy

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Simone Biles is the "Olympic F***ing Champion" and she is getting the hype befitting her stature. 

The 11-time Olympic medals winner, four of which were won in the recently concluded Paris Olympics only, was seen dining at a Chicago restaurant with her NFL star husband Jonathan Owens. 

After concluding her successful sojourn to Paris, the 27-year-old Team USA gymnast is back on American soil where she was greeted with a hero’s welcome.

Recently, Biles shared a series of screenshots on her Instagram account where she was seen dining at Chicago’s famous Maple & Ash restaurant. 

As the gymnast went to dine in the famed steakhouse with her husband and Chicago Bears safety, Jonathan Owens, she was surprised with a customized menu. 

Scrawled across the front page was written “Olympic F***ing Champion,” which took Biles in surprise. 

The athlete was, however, quick to show her glee as she posted a few pictures of the menu celebrating her Olympic success. 

The restaurant too posted a few pics of her and her husband as they showed off the emblazoned menu card. 

And the restaurant is not wrong is describing Biles using flowery language as she is indeed one of the most successful gymnasts in the Olympics. Among her 11 Olympic medals, four were won in the Paris 2024 - three gold and one silver.

Simone Biles courted controversy with Green Bay Parkers jacket

Biles eating up like a champion (quite literally) happened just at the heels of her courting controversies by wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket. 

Recently, Biles appeared to cheer her husband, who is currently a safety with the Chicago Bears, wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket. 

Now, for the fans, Biles's sartorial choice appeared problematic owing to the enmity between the two teams. 

Moreover, many fans even advised her to get a new jacket from the Chicago Bears as her husband is now with the Illinois-based team, and the Packers are now a thing of the past as Owens played with them in the last season. 

One of the fans said, "Love that you still have a Packers jacket on! 💛💚 We miss you in Wisconsin!"

However, a Bears fan reminded her, "Time to get a bears version of that jacket now 🐻".

"Simone. You're the GOAT. You can do anything. But you can't wear that jacket to Soldier Field while your husband plays for the Bears," said another fan. 

Someone else noted, "Someone make her an Owens Bears jacket. Nothing cuter than how she and her husband show up for each other."
