Skai immediately responded to the post, defending her boyfriend, whom she did not publicly identify, and insisting the comment was not genuine.

In the comments section, she wrote, “His page was hacked! He never said this. End of story.” Her mother, Kiya Cole, also chimed in, adding, “HE NEVER SAID THIS!!!! Stop being messy!!!”

The post was eventually deleted, and the account shared a more positive image of Skai smiling with a heart emoji, signaling that the controversy was over.

The pregnancy announcement itself came when Skai Jackson shared the news with People magazine, expressing her joy about becoming a mother. “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” she said.

In accompanying photos, Skai proudly showed off her baby bump in a lilac crop top while enjoying an outing with her mother, Kiya Cole. The announcement followed rumors that began circulating last week when Skai was seen in Los Angeles cradling her stomach.

However, the timing of the pregnancy news also comes after a tense period in Skai’s personal life. In August, she was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery following an alleged altercation with her boyfriend at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles.

Police drop charges after investigation into Skai Jackson’s alleged altercation

Police were called after an incident involving Skai Jackson allegedly pushing her boyfriend, but after reviewing surveillance footage, the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence.

“Skai is relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding,” her representative said at the time. “We appreciate that the DA determined very quickly that there should be no charges of any kind and Skai looks forward to putting this behind her.”

At the time of her arrest, Skai was reportedly overheard telling officers that she was "happily engaged and expecting a baby." The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office ultimately declined to file charges, citing the lack of injuries and the non-cooperation of the alleged victim, who was also her boyfriend.

Despite the controversy surrounding her pregnancy announcement, Skai has remained focused on her future and the new chapter in her life. The actress, best known for her roles on Disney Channel's 'Jessie' and 'Bunk'd', is looking forward to motherhood and new acting projects.

Skai Jackson's upcoming movie is 'The Man In The White Van', which will be released on December 13.
