New York-based venture capitalist Henry L McNamara – a Forbes 30-Under-30 – recently shared Snoop Dogg's alleged Olympics salary on X.

McNamara wrote, "Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner, he said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics. From 'Gin and Juice' to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics - what a world."

The Grammy-nominated rapper landed in Paris, France, on July 26 for the opening ceremony of the Olympics, and will continue to commentate for NBC until the end of the Olympics on Sunday, August 11.

McNamara claimed that Snoop Dogg would reportedly earn an incredible $8 million for the course of the 16-day Paris 2024 Olympic Games, per Independent.

Although NBC has not disclosed the sum, The Washington Post reported that the network's attempts to pique fans' interest in the games have paid off, with viewing rising by 79 per cent since the Tokyo games in 2020.

Snoop Dogg has been a part of the 2024 Olympics from the beginning; in fact, he carried the torch during several of the opening ceremonies.
