Snoop Dogg wears full equestrian kit with Martha Stewart at Paris Olympics dressage event

VERSAILLES, FRANCE: Snoop Dogg has been living it up at the Paris Olympics, from carrying the Olympic flame to dabbling in weightlifting. Now, he's turning heads alongside Martha Stewart on the 8th day of the Olympics.

On August 3, 2024, Doggfather donned a full equestrian kit to catch the dressage event with Stewart, adding a touch of flair to the proceedings.

The duo, a unique blend of rap royalty and lifestyle icon, witnessed a stellar performance from British rider Becky Moody, who wowed the crowd with a leading first-round score on her horse, Jagerbomb.

Stewart and Dogg had already teased their Olympic dressage plans. As the Today Show's Instagram teased, "@snoopdogg and @marthastewart48 are teaming up for the Olympic dressage competition tomorrow!! WE’RE SEATED!! #ParisOlympics."

Snoop Dogg reunites with Martha Stewart at Paris Olympics

Longtime friends, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart reunited at the Paris Olympics, teaming up to cover the Olympic dressage competition. 

Dogg arrived at Saturday's dressage team Grand Prix Special, fully dressed and ready to ride if necessary. He was joined by Stewart, who sported breeches, a dressage tailcoat, and a hard hat as they explored the Chateau de Versailles venue.

According to Today, the rapper and actor revealed that stylist Talia Coles has prepared a unique outfit for him for each day of the Olympics.

His presence at the event certainly caused a buzz. British dressage rider Carl Hester mentioned that the news of Snoop Dogg's arrival quickly spread through the stables, creating excitement among everyone.

Hester said, "I didn't get to meet him, but of course the talk of the stables was that he was here and everyone was looking for him on the camera."

"It's great that he's enjoying dressage and he was here," he added, as per Mirror.

According to DailyMail, Dogg had previously made waves with his humorous commentary on dressage during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, famously describing German rider Isabell Werth's horse as a "crip-walking horse."

Reflecting on his experience as a torchbearer, Doggfather said, "Something I'm gonna be able to live with and be happy with (is) to know that I was the face and the voice of peace for that one moment in time."

Despite his evident enthusiasm for the sport, Snoop Dogg admitted that he has yet to ride a horse. "I'm still scared of horses," the 52-year-old confessed.
