Snoop Dogg’s growing friendship with Reba McEntire has Martha Stewart ‘gritting her teeth’ in jealousy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Martha Stewart is reportedly not happy with Snoop Dogg’s growing friendship with Reba McEntire in ‘The Voice’.
According to the latest reports, the 52-year-old rapper's longtime best friend is reportedly feeling a sense of "competition" as she believes her position in Snoop's life may be threatened by his growing friendship with fellow 'The Voice' judge Reba McEntire, 69.
Martha Stewart is not happy with Snoop Dogg’s friendship with Reba McEntire
Snoop Dogg recently joined 'The Voice' as a judge for its 26th season and has been enjoying himself on set with fellow coaches, including Reba McEntire, Michael Buble, and Gwen Stefani.
However, sources indicate that Snoop has at least one special friend on the set of the singing reality show, which hasn't sat well with Martha, 83.
The source recently shared with Life & Style, “Reba and Snoop get along great, and they’ve found they have much in common when it comes to music, art, pets and more.”
“They make each other laugh and tend to hang out and chat when the cameras stop,” shared the source.
Providing more insight into their friendship, the source added, "Reba may not share Snoop's interest in cannabis, but he likes her and thinks she's cool."
While the singer of 'The Next Episode' is enthusiastic about his new friendship with Martha, the television personality does not share the same excitement.
The insider spilled, “He has been raving about Reba to Martha, who clearly can’t stand the competition.”
“It’s enough to make Martha grit her teeth,” the source added before explaining about the chef, “The thing is that Martha never learned to share. She must come first whether it’s in the kitchen or social scene.”
“Martha thinks Reba is overrated and has bad hair and doesn’t deserve the adulation from her very best friend and weed smoking pal,” concluded the source.
Snoop Dogg reportedly stepped in as matchmaker for Martha Stewart
The news of Martha Stewart feeling jealous over Snoop Dogg's budding friendship with Reba McEntire emerged over a month after rumors suggested that the 'Riders on the Storm' singer was acting as a matchmaker for Martha.
A source dished, “He can't understand why a beautiful soul like Martha hasn't snagged a guy when she looks so great and much younger than her age,” per RadarOnline.
However, the source also noted that “the options haven’t been great when it comes to finding a guy who is sexy, charming, and eligible.”
As a result, Snoop Dogg took it upon himself to play matchmaker, reportedly “going through all his contacts to find potential dates and helping Martha get out more.”
Moreover, the ‘Drop It Like It's Hot’ singer also took the television personality to the Olympic Games to celebrate her birthday on August 3.
“It's good for Martha to get out. She spends too much time by herself. She is too proud to complain, but it can't be nice making dinner for one all the time,” explained the source.
