LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: R&B legend Dionne Warwick shared her thoughts on the Country Music Association Awards snub on Beyonce!

“Absolutely ridiculous," the iconic singer tweeted on Monday, September 9, when the nominees were released for the 2024 edition.

The six-time Grammys award winner didn’t hide her disappointment amid the successful country-genre debut by Beyonce this year with ‘Cowboy Carter’.



 

Shaboozey praises Beyonce despite CMA Awards ignoring her country debut

The other star singer who reacted to Beyonce’s zero nominations despite her album being a best-selling in the list was Shaboozey.

The ‘Let It Burn’ crooner wrote over X, “That goes without saying. Thank you Beyonce for opening a door for us, starting a conversation, and giving us one of the most innovative country albums of all time!” per Houston Chronicle.

Shaboozey has been nominated for ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Single of the Year’ category by CMA Awards 2024.



 

Fans are clueless after Beyonce gets zero nominations for 2024 CMA Awards 

Netizens ridiculed the Country Music Association Awards for not picking Beyonce in any of the categories for the upcoming annual awards. The pop queen launched her first country genre album with much commercial success.

One user shared on X, "Crazy, well at least she gave the world an introduction to Shaboozey, hope he wins it for Bey."

"Dionne Warwick is right, it is absolutely ridiculous that Beyonce didn't get one nomination," the second agreed.

Another joined in, "CMA failed to recognise the value of Cowboy Carter, But Beyonce will come out stronger again.😅."

"Looks like the CMA voters need to take a crash course in what makes a song a hit. Maybe they thought 'Cowboy Carter' was just Beyonce's attempt at a new fashion line," one joked. 

A person shared, "It was a bad album. Only 1 single was a hit but the overall album just wasn’t that great."

"Theyre mad beyonce was gonna sweep the awards effortlessly," one user chimed.
