LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sutton Foster has taken the significant step of filing for divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, marking the end of their 10-year marriage. This comes amid swirling rumors of a romance between the 49-year-old actress and her former 'The Music Man' co-star, Hugh Jackman. 

Fosted and Griffin tied the knot in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California in October 2014. After facing fertility struggles, they chose to adopt, welcoming their daughter, Emily, seven, in 2016.

The Broadway star filed for an uncontested divorce in the New York Supreme Court on Tuesday, October 22, as reported by Page Six.

Rumors of a rift in Sutton Foster and Ted Griffin's marriage began circulating after the actress starred alongside Hugh Jackman in 'The Music Man'. 

The speculation gained traction after InTouch reported in December 2023 that Jackman was "romancing" Foster.

Multiple sources have since indicated that Foster and Jackman have developed feelings for each other, with one source stating, "They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together."

Additional reports claim that while the pair is strong, they are keeping their relationship private, with one insider noting, "They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge."

It's also important to mention that the actor filed for divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023, ending their 27-year marriage. Neither Jackman nor Foster has commented on these developments.

Foster also mentioned their shared love for going to the movies, noting how Griffin introduced her to classics like Alfred Hitchcock's 'Rear Window'. The actress added that she enjoys bringing him into the realm of more lighthearted films, saying, "I'm trying to bring his intelligence a little bit down." 

Foster was previously married to fellow Tony winner Christian Borle.
