Sutton Foster 'furious' at Hugh Jackman's ex Deborra-Lee Furness over betrayal claims: 'Loser in love'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sutton Foster is reportedly fuming after being painted as a homewrecker in the wake of Hugh Jackman’s divorce.
Now, the Broadway star is said to be ready to speak out, as Jackman's ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, continues to push what insiders describe as a "betrayal" narrative.
Sutton Foster 'sick' of Deborra-Lee Furness for fueling 'betrayal' narrative
Foster, 50, who went public with her romance with Jackman, 56, earlier this year, has so far remained silent. But sources say the actress is growing increasingly frustrated with 69-year-old Furness’ comments and her growing influence on the public perception of the breakup.

Notably, in May, shortly after filing for divorce, Furness released a scathing statement that reportedly "blindsided" Jackman, especially given that the pair had reached an amicable settlement following what the Daily Mail described as a "handsome spousal support payment."
“My heart and compassion go out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It’s a profound wound that cuts deep,” Furness told the Daily Mail at the time.
The divorce was finalized on June 24, after two other documents were filed on June 10: a "Qualified Medical Child Support Order," concerning the children’s insurance, and "Findings of Fact/Conclusions of Law."

Now, an insider told RadarOnline, “Sutton has been biting her tongue, but now she’s sick of it and ready to fight back.”

Sources further told the publication that Jackman was stunned by Furness's harsh remarks, especially since he had hoped for an amicable split after 27 years of marriage and raising two adopted children together.

Insiders also claim that Furness and those close to her have been spreading damaging stories about Jackman behind the scenes.
“Furness and her pals are bashing Jackman as a ‘callous dog’ and vowing the world will soon hear what a ‘sleazeball’ he was,” the source said.
“Sutton’s furious. She’s willing to swear on a stack of Bibles that they never got romantic until things were officially over between Deb and Hugh,” the insider added.

Speculation that Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were romantically involved during their time together in 'The Music Man' reignited earlier rumors. However, sources say Foster is unfazed by whatever Furness may have heard or believed.

“She’s no pushover, and she’s ready to confront the situation head-on, possibly through an interview of her own, where she’ll tell Furness in no uncertain terms to move on,” the source shared.
“It angers Sutton to see the man she loves painted as a villain by someone who’s ultimately just a very sore loser in love,” the insider added.
