LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cam Stewart, the host of the 'Drew & Stew Podcast', is facing widespread backlash from Taylor Swift’s fans after making a controversial and cruel remark about the singer.

During a recent episode, Stewart expressed frustration with Swift’s presence at NFL games, particularly her attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games to support Travis Kelce.

While discussing the upcoming game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, Cam Stewart shared his disdain for the Chiefs, saying, “Honest to God, Kansas City fans, it’s not personal. If I meet a Kansas City fan, you could be the nicest guy in the world. I hate your team and I hate the way they’re getting benefits from the NFL.”

He added, "Buffalo, knock these [expletives] around. I want Mahomes on the deck."

However, Stewart’s comments took a darker turn when he learned that Taylor Swift might be attending the game. In a moment many considered excessive, Stewart remarked, “Oh, who cares? Throw her into the Niagara Falls.”

The remark was met with immediate backlash, particularly from Swift’s fans known as Swifties, many of whom found his remarks quite offensive and disrespectful. 

Swifties outraged over Cam Stewart's comment

Swifties wasted no time expressing their anger on social media after Cam Stewart's controversial comment about Taylor Swift.

One Twitter user wrote, "I hope both Taylor and Travis sue you a** for threats @CamStewartLive.”



 

Another fan tweeted, “Give that man some blood pressure medication lol.”



 

One replied, "This “man” needs to relax because he is embarrassing himself."



 

Another said, "These guys are so desperate they resort to make-believe Kansas City losses, I.e., to the 2007 Patriots."



 

One user added, "Hilarious. Jealousy is an ugly bitch. LOL."



 

"All I hear are losers talking," commented one.



 

Cam Stewart defends himself by calling his remark about Taylor Swift a 'bad joke'

Amid the growing backlash, Cam Stewart attempted to brush off his comment as a joke.

Replying to an X user, the sports broadcaster wrote, "Didnt mean it bad joke." 



 

Meanwhile, Swift has not addressed the incident, staying true to her usual approach of not engaging in unwarranted provocations.
