LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sydney Sweeney sparked outrage after attending Glen Powell’s sister’s wedding in a baby-blue outfit, which social media users deemed "inappropriate".

The ‘Euphoria’ actress, who recently created headlines after calling off her own impending nuptials with fiance Jonathan Davino, 41, attended her ‘Anyone But You’ co-star’s sister’s wedding on Saturday, March 30.

Sweeney, 27, turned heads in a powder-blue V Chapman dress featuring a corset-style bodice and ruffled maxi skirt, per Daily Mail.

The happy bride, Leslie Powell, shared moments from her big day on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 30, including a photo with Sydney Sweeney, 27. According to the outlet, the actress had RSVP'd to the event months ago.

"Sydney brought one of her girlfriends to the wedding as a guest and she RSVP'd months ago," an insider told Daily Mail.

Sweeney’s latest outing at the ‘Twister’ actor’s sister’s wedding came amid her ongoing marriage debacle. She recently called off her wedding to Davino.

Meanwhile, just a day after Leslie's wedding, Sweeney and Powell were spotted sharing a meal together on Sunday at a Dallas restaurant, as revealed by DeuxMoi.

However, insiders ruled out the possibility of Sweeney having anything romantic with Powell, 36. Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said, “There is nothing going on romantically between Glen and Sydney. They are just friends.”

“Sydney is close with the entire family,” shared the source, before adding that the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor’s sister and Sweeney have “been close friends for a long time".

As Sydney Sweeney attended Glen Powell’s sister, Leslie Powell’s wedding, fans started taking note of the actress’ sartorial choice for the occasion. After one of her photos with the bride went viral on social media, fans started taking offense at the color of her gown. 

While several users pointed out that the color of the dress was “not appropriate” for a wedding guest because of its close similarity to bridal white, some also slammed the corset-style top of the gown. 

Nevertheless, some users pointed out that blue might just be the theme of the wedding, as in some other pictures posted by Leslie, a few other guests were also wearing blue. 

One social media user boldly declared on X, "Starting discourse but that is not an appropriate shade of blue for a wedding."

"Sydney is so pretty, but this shade of baby blue should be banned from being worn to a wedding😭," shared someone else. 

Another user added, "LOVE Sydney but that dress is too light of a blue for a wedding. The #1 of a wedding is DONT WEAR ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE TO WHITE."

"Wtf is wrong with this woman sydney!?" asked someone else, before pointing out, "The dress, the color, nothing is appropriate for a wedding."

"That’s not appropriate at all for a wedding," added another user.
