LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tamar Braxton has declined an offer to join 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' and now the viewers should not hope to see her on the reality show. 

The 47-year-old singer and reality star made this revelation during a conversation with podcast host Carlos King, as per People.

Her decision coincides with Bravo's production of Season 16, which is undergoing significant casting changes in response to decreased ratings.

Notably, the premiere of Season 16 of 'RHOA' is scheduled for 2025 and past seasons are available for streaming on Peacock.

In a recent live interview at City Winery in Atlanta with podcast host Carlos King, the Grammy-nominated singer disclosed that she had been offered a role on the long-standing Bravo series but opted to decline.

She claimed, "I’ve had conversations but the truth is, it’s just no way I’m going to sit and get a wig put on and get my face beat to argue with a bunch of b***hes about nothing,"

Braxton addressed the audience during the show, which was uploaded to 'Reality with the King's YouTube page on May 21, "I can’t do it. What does that do for me in my life? What’s the argument?" 

She additionally articulated her belief, "Let me tell you something, all money ain’t good money. It’s just not What’s for me won’t miss me. It’s not worth my mental to sit up here and get into an argument with another Black beautiful women about nothing so 'other people' can think this is what we’re about."

Braxton, a veteran of reality television with appearances on shows like 'Braxton Family Values' and 'Celebrity Big Brother', which she won, emphasized her selective approach to projects.

She claimed, "At some point you have to have responsibility about what you put on the TV screen, I don’t want to be a part of that television. I want to make feel-good, funny, good, relatable epic television."
