Cara Delevingne opens up on her ‘Cabaret’ experience
Last month, Delevingne talked about her musical theater entry with Cabaret. "I didn't know that I could play Sally, let alone wanted to, until the opportunity arose," Delevingne said.
"In theatre, more than movies, I have found myself more drawn to tenacious but very flawed characters," she told Harper Bazaar.
"I feel I can put all my pain and fear into the performance. There are so many layers to her. She is extremely powerful, but my God, is she broken and vulnerable. She's a child — a little girl, and that is the saddest part of it all. I definitely [recognize] myself in that," she added.
"I have never learnt so much, or grown so much," Delevingne added of her experience working on the West End show. "I am taking away so many incredible, valuable things that you cannot get, or even pay for, by doing this job," she shared.
The ‘Karma’ singer’s next stop is France where she is scheduled to do a couple of shows at Groupama Stadium, according to JustJared.
Swift and Delevingne’s friendship dates back to 2015 when the star featured in ‘Bad Blood’ music video.
In December, the two celebrated a girls night out with Selena Gomez, Anya Taylor-Joy and Zoe Kravitz. A month earlier, they stepped out for another A-lister dinner with Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, and Brittany Mahomes.
