LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper Kanye West name-dropped pop icon Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the new 'Vultures 2' track amid his ongoing feud with the singer.

The feud between the two dates back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards where West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video and said that the honor should have gone to Beyonce instead.

The lyrics of the track read, "I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce." The reference 'Taylor' is likely a call-out to the pop star's first name, while Kelce’s reference is supposedly a dig on his NFL position as a tight end, according to US Magazine.

Moreover, in his album 'Vultures' 12th track 'Carnival', he mentioned Taylor's name. The lyrics were, "Why she say she sucked my d***?/ Then she say she ain’t sucked my d*** / She gon’ take it up the ass, like a ventriloquist / I mean since Taylor Swift/ since I had the Rollie on the wrist / I’m the new Jesus, b****, I turn water to Cris’."

Notably, neither Swift nor Kelce has given any official response to the track. However, Swift's fans believe she reacted to the reference made by the rapper during her last week's Eras Tour concert in Warsaw, Poland.

Swift wore a T-shirt that read 'I Bet You Think About Me' during the Red set of her performance. Her fans believed it was a response to the rapper.

A fan wrote on X, "She's so funny for wearing the I bet you think about me shirt after Ka*ye name dropped her and Travis in his song an actual comedian."

Another person said, "I filled mine out last night and then saw the k*nye thing a little bit ago and I knew she was gonna wear it lmao."

Apart from their feud in 2009, West later spoke about her in 2016's 'Famous', rapping, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b****h famous."

Moreover, when Swift objected to the offensive lyrics, West doubled down and said he had received her permission to do so. Swift responded to West during her Grammy Awards acceptance speech in 2016.

She said, "As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."

She added, "If you just focus on the work, and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment."

In December 2023, during an interview with TIME, Swift talked about her feud with West, and his then-wife Kim Kardashian, according to People. She said, "Make no mistake — my career was taken away from me."

She added, "You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar."

She spoke about a video of a supposed phone call between her and West which was shared by Kardashian. It was later revealed that it had been edited to back West's version of events.

She added, "That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard."
