Taylor Swift earns five Emmy nominations days after wedding to Travis Kelce

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift proved once again that she has the Midas touch. Just days after marrying Travis Kelce on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, the "Ophelia" singer scored an impressive five Emmy nominations for her Disney+ concert special, 'Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show'.

Although the 'Eras Tour' has wrapped up, its success continues. The concert film has brought Swift her first Emmy nominations in over 10 years.

For those aware, the film is directed by Glenn Weiss and showcases the final stop of Swift’s historic tour. The concert special features the full setlist, along with the 'The Tortured Poets Department' section.

Taylor Swift earns 5 Emmy nominations days after her wedding 

Swift's 'Eras Tour' era is still making headlines. On Wednesday, July 8, 'Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show' picked up nominations at the 78th Emmy Awards, with Swift earning recognition as both a performer and an executive producer of the Disney+ concert special.

The special received nominations for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special. 

Swift shares the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) nomination with executive producers Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn, supervising producer Rose-Ellen Galluzzo, and line producer Bradley Stein.

In the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) category, the concert film will compete against 'Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable', 'The Muppet Show', 'Nikki Glaser: Good Girl', and 'Wicked: One Wonderful Night' as its awards run continues.
