Taylor Swift fans flood CJ Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant with bad reviews after Travis Kelce dig

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Pop icon Taylor Swift's fans have taken it online to slam Philadelphia Eagles' safety CJ Gardner-Johnson after his Instagram story where he mocked Travis Kelce after Super Bowl 2025.

Many Swifties targeted the Eagles star's mother's restaurant - King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida - and have left horrible reviews online to avenge their idol's beau, according to Whiskey Riff.

According to the outlet, Taylor Swift fans have given the restaurant one star and some have also commented "bad service" for a place they have probably never even been.

Moreover, some fans even tried to report the restaurant to ICE. 

The incident took place after Johnson did not miss the chance to diss the Chiefs’ tight end’s much-documented romance with the pop icon following their 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, February 9.

Gardner-Johnson tried to mock Kelce's relationship as he took to his Instagram Stories and seemingly implied that Kelce's floundering about his past romance with Kayla Nicole has somehow contributed to the Chiefs' loss. 

Notably, Gardner-Johnson shared a picture of his in-field interaction with Kelce and wrote, "Should’ve stayed w that thick s****."

Even though he initially did not hint who he was referencing in his post, he later confirmed that he was throwing shade at Swift by posting a bikini picture of Nicole alongside his original post.

However, he deleted the post after a few hours as he faced mounting criticism from fans, according to Page Six.

During the Chiefs vs Eagles game on Sunday, Taylor Swift did not have quite the evening she would have hoped for as the 'Love Story' not only saw his boyfriend's team lose the game but also faced boos from the Eagles crowd when she was shown on the giant screen.

Internet slams Swifties for posting horrible reviews

Several internet users slammed Taylor Swift fans for posting horrible reviews for CJ Gardner-JOhnson's mother's restaurant and felt that they should not affect a woman's business who has not done anything wrong.

A user wrote on X, "That is so damn wrong. It’s a freaking game. This is a woman’s livelihood ffs," while one added, "5 star review left to try and counteract their BS."

A person also stated, "Eagles fans never doxxed a small business over a game," whereas one mentioned, "Taylor Swift Fans: Whatever! We’d never waste our time! *Also Taylor Swift Fans: …"

A user also wrote, "Very low class move by those fans. Wish I was closer to go support the restaurant," while one commented, "Those crazies need to get a life. It’s pathetic and sad."

A person also stated, "They’re a cult. Revolving their lives around a singer than couldn’t care less about them," whereas one added, "Swifties are starting to become a trash group of people."
