Taylor Swift's fans react to Travis Kelce’s surprise omission from ‘Eras Tour Book’ despite cameo

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift has released her ‘Eras Tour Book’ amid much fanfare on Black Friday, November 29. 

While the 34-year-old pop star’s colossal tome contains several details from her record-breaking Eras Tour, the fans quickly noticed that Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce was notably missing from the pages of the book. 

Swifties soon started speculating about the contents of her book, while wondering what made Kelce being left out of the book.

Travis Kelce was not featured despite having cameo

In her recently released book, Taylor Swift mentioned that the Eras Tour has played to 10.1 million fans in 51 cities. However, fans were surprised to find there was no mention of Travis Kelce, who made a cameo appearance in her book. 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, made a surprise appearance during Swift’s Eras Tour stop at the Wembley Stadium in London, in June 2024. 

The Super Bowl winner looked dapper as he donned a classic three-piece suit and a top hat, and joined Swift onstage during her performance of ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ during one of her tour stops. 

According to Page Six, the Grammy winner has allegedly left out the pictures of all her subtle nods to beau Travis Kelce. 

Swift’s book notably does not include the ‘Swag Surfin’ dance or Kelce-inspired archer pose she does during her performance of ‘So High School’.

Swifties were left wondering why Travis Kelce was left out of the Eras Tour Book. Nevertheless, many fans concluded that since the book was about Swift and her hard work, Kelce was left out of the tome. 

One of the users started the conversation when they asked, "I'm surprised Travis’ performance on stage is not in the book unless it happened too late."

Another fan, however, theorized, "Now why would Travis Kelce be in a Taylor swift eras tour book 💀 even if they were still pulling photos up until London n3 it’s not his tour. He’s not the one spending months practicing and then 2 years performing 😭."

Someone else added, "Maybe because it's the eras tour book and not the tale of taylor swift and travis kelce's romance 🤷🏽‍♀️."

Another fan mused, "I am seeing people disappointed with the fact that travis is not in the eras tour book… now why tf would travis kelce make an appearance in the eras tour book please bffr i can’t with yall."

"Right because it’s the eras tour book not the travis kelce tour book 😭," pointed out someone else.

Another fan added, "The book was finished before then and no surprise guests were featured."

Everyone was, however, not similarly sympathetic, as one of the readers commented, "That's because she knows he won't be around much longer."

"Good for her. To have included him would have shown disrespect to her fans; if they can't see that, she can. This book is for her fans about the concerts she made for them. She can include Travis in her memoirs. He should not be included anywhere else," explained another fan.
