Taylor Swift gives Travis Kelce’s birthday charity event a miss amid breakup rumors
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Taylor Swift refrained from attending Travis Kelce's second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event, which took place in Kansas City on the occasion of the tight end's 35th birthday.
Meanwhile, the 'Blank Space' hitmaker appeared to be enjoying herself at her cousin's wedding without her NFL star boyfriend although the event was held in Missouri. This comes amid their ongoing breakup rumors.
Taylor Swift opts out of Travis Kelce's birthday charity event
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, used his 35th birthday as an opportunity to give back by organizing the second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City on Saturday, October 5.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his spouse Brittany were among the prominent guests at the star-studded event. Travis was joined by his older brother, Jason Kelce, along with his parents, Ed and Donna Kelce.
The goal of the block party and fundraiser, which is in aid of his 87 and Running Foundation, is to assist Cleveland's and Kansas City's underprivileged youngsters, per The Mirror.
However, Kelce's pop star girlfriend, was conspicuously absent from the celebration. Swift was not seen at the party, despite the intense speculation that she would attend her boyfriend's charity event.
Considering that US Weekly recently reported that "Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City," the singer's absence was highly unexpected.
Swift's absence at the Kelce Car Jam event came amid rumors that the 'Anti-Hero' singer would not be attending Monday's Chiefs versus New Orleans Saints game, per Daily Mail.
Swift's hit songs were played at the event, regardless of her absence. In addition, Kelce displayed his classic 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, which he drove with Swift previously after the songstress made her Chiefs debut.

Taylor Swift enjoyed herself at cousin's wedding without Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift recently attended her cousin's wedding and appeared to be enjoying herself, even though Travis Kelce was not present at the Missouri-based celebration.
Given how much fun the Grammy-winning singer was having at her cousin's wedding, it appears unlikely that the 'Style' singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are having any problems in paradise.
Fans were taken aback by Travis' absence from the celebration, particularly because October 5 was his 35th birthday. However, Swift joyfully let her hair down and posed for pictures with the bride, seemed unconcerned by the momentous occasion.
The singer made a funny expression as they took pictures together while sporting an outrageously expensive $321 silver flowery outfit, as reported by Marca.com.

According to reports, Travis was preoccupied with prior commitments while practising few days before facing the Los Angeles Chargers and holding Kelce Car Jam.
Travis recorded seven receptions for 89 yards on September 29, in California, which was significantly more in line with his prior seasons' output. It was his greatest performance of the year so far.
The Grammy winner was previously accused of "ruining" the football player's career. Several accounts linking Travis' odd habits, such as "partying all summer" with his partner, to his poor performance have bolstered this accusation.
Travis Kelce confirms Taylor Swift will be at next Kansas City Chiefs game
During the Kelce Car Jam event, Travis Kelce confirmed to Page Six that Taylor Swift would be at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, October 7, when the Chiefs play the New Orleans Saints.
"She will not be here [today. But] I know she's coming in for the game," Kelce revealed.
In response to a question about what the 35-year-old would prefer for his birthday, Kelce said, "I'll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those."
