While she didn't explicitly mention Taylor Swift or the election, the post seemed well-timed, hinting at her desire to rise above the growing political divide.

Despite their differing political views, sources close to the situation insist that Mahomes and Swift remain on good terms.

According to Daily Mail, the two have made a “pact” to avoid discussing politics, respecting each other’s opinions.

There is reportedly "no bad blood" between the two friends, even as speculation of a wedge has persisted.

The tension became public in mid-September when Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, sparking a series of reactions.

Former president Trump responded by taking to his Truth Social account with an all-caps post declaring, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Swift’s endorsement, meanwhile, gained significant traction, racking up over 11 million likes on Instagram and driving more than 330,000 visits to Vote.gov, a voter registration site she had linked.

Trump had taken shots at Swift before, but his most recent comment included a surprising comparison, stating, “I like Mrs Mahomes much better,” referring to Brittany.

This statement further fueled rumors, especially after Brittany had “liked” a post from Trump’s campaign on Instagram.

Her subtle social media endorsement reportedly drew reactions from both supporters and critics, deepening the curiosity about her relationship with Swift.

Yet, the two friends have been spotted together at various events, including Patrick Mahomes’ 29th birthday party and the US Open men’s singles final earlier in September, suggesting their friendship remains intact.

The political landscape in the US has been particularly heated, with two assassination attempts targeting Donald Trump.

In July, Trump was injured after a bullet grazed his ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Tragically, a rallygoes, 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, was killed.
