Taylor Swift files restraining order as stalker claims they’re in a relationship and she’s his son's mom

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift has secured a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, a Colorado resident, who has been accused of stalking her and fabricating disturbing stories about their non-existent relationship.
According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, the man allegedly visited Swift’s Los Angeles home multiple times, prompting serious safety concerns.
This isn't the first time the pop superstar, now famously dating NFL star Travis Kelce, has faced such threats. Swift has a troubling history with stalkers, several of whom have been arrested while trying to get close to her.

Taylor Swift gets restraining order against alleged stalker
Taylor Swift received a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, who repeatedly showed up at her Los Angeles home over the past year. In court documents, Swift expressed that she now fears for the safety of both herself and her family.
In a legal declaration, Swift stated, “Mr Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true), being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person, all of which are untrue and disconnected from reality.”

According to the filing, Wagner first appeared at Taylor Swift’s home in early 2024 and returned multiple times that July. “On at least one of the occasions in July 2024, Mr Wagner was carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon,” the documents alleged.
The 35-year-old artist also claimed that Wagner showed up again in May 2025, claiming he was “checking on a friend,” a statement she called entirely false.
Swift’s security team later discovered that Wagner had a criminal history and had previously sent her lengthy letters from prison professing a fictional "romantic relationship with [her] (which does not exist), and other completely fabricated stories about his involvement in [her] personal life."

The filing further alleges that Wagner fraudulently used Swift’s home address on his driver’s license and tried to redirect her mail to his own residence. He also reportedly sent threatening emails to her staff.
Swift emphasized, “I have no relationship with Mr Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him.” She noted that his most recent visits in May, combined with increasingly inappropriate and threatening messages, have heightened her concern.
“The fact that both of these recent visits and Mr Wagner’s inappropriate and threatening communications to my staff about me have escalated in recent weeks creates a fear of imminent harm,” she stated in the filing.
As a result, the court granted Swift a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles, preventing Wagner from approaching her home, workplaces, or vehicles. A temporary restraining order was granted on Monday, June 9, and will stay in place through June 30.
Has Taylor Swift been stalked before?

Taylor Swift is, unfortunately, no stranger to stalking incidents. In January 2024, David Crowe was arrested in New York City for the third time for stalking her home.
Authorities reported that Crowe showed up at Swift’s Manhattan residence shortly after being released under supervision, despite already facing charges of harassment and stalking.
Later that year, in July 2024, another man was taken into custody in Germany just before one of Swift’s 'Eras Tour' performances. He was accused of making threats against both Swift and her partner, Travis Kelce.
