This led to a viral theory suggesting that Swift may have intentionally "edited out" an engagement ring to keep the news of Travis Kelce’s possible proposal under wraps, Daily Mail reports.
The investigation continued as fans also spotted Swift wearing a red friendship bracelet on her right arm, which seemed to be a tribute to her NFL star boyfriend.
A close-up of the bracelet showed five white letter charms, with two of them appearing to be a side-by-side "C" and "E." This led fans to believe that the charms spelled out "KELCE."
"Hey. Um, guys? Do you feel like the pics with her hand are... blurred? Or am I hormanl," inquired @lizpwoods through an Instagram Story on Wednesday.
She then zoomed in on each party photo of Swift holding a red cocktail with her left hand. The fan noticed that the spot where a ring would be positioned appeared slightly different in tone from the rest of Swift's finger.
Other fans chimed in, with many speculating that Swift might be engaged. However, some questioned why she didn't remove the ring while posing for photos if she were indeed engaged.
In a screenshot of an iMessage conversation posted to her Instagram Story, @lizpwoods suggested that Kelce might have proposed during Swift's birthday celebration.
"Because wearing an engagement ring after getting engaged at a party celebrating you sounds like the most perfect night ever," she wrote.
