Taylor Swift insider who exposed Blake Lively's 'threat' to leak texts amid Justin Baldoni feud revealed

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Taylor Swift insider, who earlier exposed Blake Lively's team's "threat" to leak the singer's private texts amid her legal feud with 'It Ends With Us' actor and director Justin Baldoni, has finally been revealed.
Swift was subpoenaed as a witness in the case between Lively and Baldoni earlier in May, and it seemed like she would have her day in court. However, Baldoni's team recently withrew the subpoena.
Taylor Swift's dad Scott apparently exposed Blake Lively's team's 'threat' to leak singer's private texts
A source exclusively informed the Daily Mail that the "leaker" was none other than Scott Swift, the pop icon's 73-year-old father, who allegedly provided documented evidence to Justin Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman, and co-detailed how Blake Lively's attorneys had "threatened to leak" the private exchanges with Taylor Swift.
Lively denied the allegation, but that did not stop fan speculation over who in Swift's inner circle made the leak.
A source told the Daily Mail, "Scott Swift did not want his daughter to be dragged into this any further, and he voluntarily gave up this information as part of a deal that would include [Baldoni's team] withdrawing their subpoena for Taylor."
Meanwhile, Scott came to his daughter's rescue after she was allegedly blackmailed by Lively's lawyers, per the outlet.
The "blackmail" was mentioned in a legal letter filed by Baldoni's lawyers earlier in May, who alleged that Lively's team had attempted to "coerce" the pop star to issue a public statement in support of her.
As per the filing, Lively's lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, contacted Swift's team and demanded she "release a statement of support for Ms Lively, intimating that, if Ms Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms Lively's possession would be released."

Swift's team responded to Lively's "inappropriate and apparently extortionate threats in at least one written communication" sent to Gottlieb, per the letter.
The letter stated, "It is those communications that [Baldoni's team] seeks to obtain by way of subpoena, as they would evidence an attempt to intimidate and coerce a percipient witness in this litigation."
Following this, Scott decided to take matters into his own hands by cooperating with Baldoni and Freedman to protect his daughter from any further legal involvement, per the outlet.

The source said, "Plain and simple — they tried to extort Taylor by threatening to release private information about her so that she would support a narrative that she was not a part of."
Meanwhile, in a statement to People, Gottlieb described the suggestion that Lively's lawyers had threatened Swift as "categorically false."
Lively's lawyers also filed a motion asking the court to strike the accusations from its docket as "baseless, unnecessary, improper and abusive," according to Daily Mail.
Taylor Swift wishes she 'never met' Blake Lively
An insider informed the Daily Mail that Taylor Swift now wishes she had never met Blake Lively after being dragged into the Justin Baldoni lawsuit drama.
They said, "Right now, if Taylor had one wish it would be that she never met Blake. Although there have been good times during their relationship, the issues now concerning the Baldoni case have outweighed them."

"When Taylor looks back at their friendship, she realizes it wasn’t worth all the stress Blake put her through. She can now see all the red flags that should have been a warning to her," the insider claimed.
The tipster further mentioned that recent events surrounding the Baldoni case have overshadowed the good times in Lively and Swift's relationship.

They added, "Taylor’s relieved the relationship is over. She put up with Blake’s antics for too long because she’s a loyal friend. It took the ‘It Ends With Us’ drama to finally get her to pull the trigger on it."
The source also mentioned that Lively reportedly "always wanted to be the leader of the pack," with Swift often needing to "tone Blake down."
