Beginning the recording, the 'Cruel Summer' hitmaker appeared inside a mental facility with stern white walls, hurling a metal cart at a two-way mirror.

In the video, Swift was portraying a "deranged" poet at the Tortured Poets Department. After hearing "Action," she took up a table and threw it against the wall with force—which appeared to be much more fluid in the edited version of the film.

Instead of breaking the glass as it does in the final edit, the cart bounces back at her in contrast to the official video. However, it was evident from the behind-the-scenes glimpse that Swift hadn't anticipated it to collide with the wall so forcefully.

Upon the cart collapsing to the ground and just missing her face, Swift could be seen laughing heartily right away.

Social media account The Swift Society posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, "Taylor Swift scaring herself after throwing a table"

One of the crew members—who was standing behind the two-way mirror—could be seen quivering on camera during the unexpected situation, per Parade.

Realizing her own strength, Swift's immediate response to the chaotic situation made fans crack up.

Afterward, she talked about her experience working with Post Malone and showed him how to operate a typewriter.

She told him that for his scene, all he had to do was type and that when he said "look," they both had to "look at each other."

She went on to say that she was motivated to leave a clue for Swifties on a book that had her handwritten word 'Us' on it. She might have been teasing 'Us,' her joint single with Gracie Abrams that was released on June 21.

In the closing seconds of the video, Swift could be seen sprinting into Malone's arms before both of them re-enter the frame.
