A 16-year-old Taylor Swift fan, Mieka Pokarier, lost her life in a head-on collision with a semi-trailer while traveling to Melbourne to attend the pop star's performance on Thursday, February 15. Mieka Pokarier was being carried to the performance by her mother when the SUV they were in collided with the semi-trailer.

According to local police, Mieka died at the scene while seated in the front passenger seat. Her 10-year-old sister, who was in the backseat, is in severe condition at a nearby hospital. Her mother has been receiving treatment for minor wounds.

Taylor Swift felt a surge of love in Australia with the completion of her tour in Melbourne and her impending trip to Sydney. However, the singer informed her Melbourne crowds they were "the love of my life" before departing, which eventually enraged the rest of the Swifties around the world.

Not only has this made Swifties all over the world envious, but many of them were shocked to learn that Swift had selected some extra special songs for her three Melbourne shows. Swift had never done a mash-up or even a repetition of any of these songs before her time in Australia.

The impending 'Deadpool' and 'Wolverine' movies, scheduled to premiere on July 25, 2024, have fans giddy with anticipation since it seems like a crazy journey. A surprising turn to the much-awaited buddy movie is the latest teaser from Marvel's official social media page, which has raised rumors of a possible Taylor Swift cameo.

Released on February 16, Marvel Australia's post included three friendship bracelets, one of which was rainbow-colored and the other two in tones of red and yellow. The yellow bracelet was named "Wolverine," referring to Logan's yellow superhero suit, while the red one was named "Deadpool" because of the character's red superhero costume. The multicolored bracelet had the movie's release date affixed to it, along with two pink hearts fastened on either side of the thread. "Besties. July 25. Wolverine and Deadpool," the caption said.
