Paste Magazine hides the byline of Taylor Swift's 'TTPD' album's negative review
The ardent followers of Taylor Swift were recently incensed when Paste Magazine decided to keep the identity of a critic who wrote a negative review of the singer's most recent album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', concealed, fearing the wrath of Swifties.
On X (formerly Twitter), the magazine wrote, "Editor’s Note: There is no byline on this review due to how, in 2019 when Paste reviewed ‘Lover,’ the writer was sent threats of violence from readers who disagreed with the work. We care more about the safety of our staff than a name attached to an article."

Taylor Swift 'humiliated' Kim Kardashian with 'TTPD's diss track 'thanK you, aIMee'
The thinly veiled diss tune on Swift's most recent album is said to have "humiliated" Kim Kardashian. The 34-year-old pop sensation stunned her fans on Friday, April 19, by revealing the second installment of her much-awaited album 'TTPD', dubbed 'The Anthology'.
Swifties believe that at least one of the 31 songs is directed towards Kardashian since the two have been embroiled in a savage dispute for several years. Fans began conjecturing that the song 'thanK you, aIMee', which has the letters K, I, and M in upper case, is a direct jab at the SKIMS founder.
According to a source with direct knowledge, Kardashian chose not to respond to Swift's apparent jab as she was afraid of being razed by the pop star's "army."
Taylor Swift effect: Swifties swarm London pubs named in 'The Tortured Poets Department'
Swift's admirers have already started visiting bars that appear to be mentioned in her latest album, adding to the already long list of London locales cited in her songs. Fans in the city have been visiting The Black Dog Pub in Vauxhall, London, in record numbers, which is mentioned in her new album 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
In 'The Black Dog', the 17th song of 'TTPD', Swift sings, "I am someone who until recent events you shared your secrets with and your location / You forgot to turn it off / And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog."

Patti Smith thanked Taylor Swift for naming her in 'The Tortured Poets Department' song
The title track of Taylor Swift's 31-song anthology, 'The Tortured Poets Department', features Patti Smith alongside Dylan Thomas. "I laughed in your face and said / ‘You’re not Dylan Thomas, I’m not Patti Smith / This ain’t the Chelsea Hotel / We’re modern idiots,'" croons Swift in her song.
Through her Instagram profile, Smith acknowledged Swift's nod by sharing pictures of herself reading Thomas' 1940 collection of short prose stories, 'Portrait of the Artist as a Young Dog'.
In a typically poetic manner, the author captioned her post, "This is / saying I was / moved to be / mentioned in / the company / of the great / Welsh poet / Dylan Thomas. / Thank you, Taylor."
