Whoopi Goldberg has come to Taylor Swift's defense after some Kansas City Chiefs fans blamed the pop star for Travis Kelce's slow start to the NFL season. On 'The View', Goldberg highlighted that Kelce was a pivotal player in the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory last year and urged fans to recognize his contributions rather than scapegoat Swift for his current performance.

Despite the Chiefs maintaining an undefeated record this season, Kelce has had limited catches and no touchdowns, leading to speculation about Swift's influence. Alyssa Farah Griffin, another host, emphasized that football is a team sport and that Kelce’s contributions extend beyond scoring.

Goldberg further criticized the backlash Swift has faced, suggesting it reflects a politically charged climate, especially following Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris for the upcoming presidential election. She concluded by telling critics to “grow up” and stop placing blame on Swift, asserting that the Chiefs are performing well as a team.

Donna Kelce, mother of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, won over social media with her warm response after being mistaken for Taylor Swift's mom, Andrea Swift. The mix-up occurred when 'Star Wars' actor Mark Hamill posted a photo of Andrea Swift at a Chiefs game, and a fan mistakenly tagged Donna Kelce in a repost.

In the original image, Andrea was seen wearing a pin that read "In my 87 era", referencing her daughter Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Travis Kelce's jersey number. The fan, who mistakenly tagged Donna, quickly realized the error and apologized, but Donna responded with grace and humor, tweeting back, "Love you too!!"

Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay has weighed in on Travis Kelce’s slow start to the NFL season, attributing it to the tight end's newfound fame and a "jet-setting" lifestyle, particularly his relationship with Taylor Swift.

During an episode of 'The Ryen Russillo Podcast', McShay suggested that Kelce's performance drop-off — he has only eight receptions for 69 yards this season — could be linked to partying and a lack of conditioning.

McShay criticized the narrative surrounding Kelce, stating, “Every show I watch… it’s like, are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape?” “That he’s been partying all offseason? He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world,” McShay added.

He referenced Kelce's high-profile appearances, including a recent weekend at the US Open with Swift, to illustrate his point. He argued that Kelce’s conditioning has changed since previous seasons, noting a stark difference when comparing pre-season photos from 2022 to 2024. Despite these criticisms, McShay acknowledged that Kelce is a fierce competitor who is likely to work his way back into form.

Interestingly, McShay clarified that he is not blaming Swift for Kelce's struggles. Instead, he pointed out that Kelce has been busy with commercials, social events, and a demanding travel schedule, which includes supporting Swift during her international tour.

Ellen DeGeneres is facing backlash for allegedly "copying" Taylor Swift in her newly released stand-up special, 'For Your Approval'. Critics pointed out similarities in the opening of DeGeneres' special to Swift's approach in her own performances, particularly in how both artists address their experiences in the public eye.

In the special, DeGeneres discusses her controversial exit from show business following allegations of a toxic work environment on her former daytime talk show. Fans and observers have noted that DeGeneres' reflection on her career struggles mirrors themes found in Swift's work, where the pop star often addresses her own challenges and growth through candid storytelling in her music and performances. This has led to accusations that DeGeneres is trying to replicate Swift's formula for connecting with audiences during a tumultuous time in her career.

Taylor Swift’s fragrance preferences reflect her evolving style and personality, with a notable affinity for Tom Ford scents. Here are the three must-try fragrances that are rumored to be among her favorites:

1. Tom Ford Santal Blush: This fragrance gained attention when it appeared in her Netflix documentary 'Miss Americana'. It features warm and creamy sandalwood notes, making it a sophisticated choice that aligns with Swift's aesthetic.

2. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum: Known for its sweeter, smokier scent, this fragrance is another favorite of Swift's. The rich blend of tobacco and vanilla creates a warm, inviting aroma that complements her dramatic artistic persona.

3. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb: Earlier in her career, Swift was rumored to be a fan of this floral fragrance, characterized by notes of cattleya, jasmine, and rose, layered with patchouli and vanilla. This scent captures a youthful essence, fitting for the early stages of her musical journey.
