During her first of six shows at the National Stadium in Singapore on Saturday, March 2, Taylor Swift shared a heartfelt revelation about her family history, particularly her mother Andrea Swift's ties to the city-state.

In a fan-shot video posted on X, Taylor disclosed that her mother spent a significant part of her childhood in Singapore with her parents and sister. Reflecting on her mother's upbringing, Taylor recounted how Andrea often reminisced about her time in Singapore, pointing out places where she used to go to school and live.



 

"My mom actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mom and dad and sister growing up in Singapore," Taylor shared in the video. She fondly recalled her mother driving her past her old house whenever they visited Singapore on tour, noting that she had been hearing stories about the city her whole life.

Expressing gratitude to her Singaporean fans for their unwavering support, Taylor emphasized that performing for them was a way of honoring her family and their roots.
