Sports analyst Pat McAfee issued a stark warning to the netizens who started jeering after he mentioned Taylor Swift during his interview with league commissioner Roger Goodell at the 2024 NFL Draft.
During the 2024 NFL Draft, McAfee invited NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to 'The Pat McAfee Show' where the two began discussing how to keep outside influences out of the game.
Goodell said, "If people think there’s an influence on the game other than the players on that field, we’re in trouble," before adding, "Well Taylor Swift, we know… Well, that’s a different kind of influence," when fans started jeering.
A surprised Goodell asked, "They're booing Taylor Swift?" McAfee then retorted back at his audience, "Yeah, you can’t—you can’t boo," and added, "Yeah, you’re gonna be part of an album. Get a little louder. She is gonna cook you."

Swift recently shared the meaning behind the lyrics of her song 'My Boy Breaks All His Favorite Toys' from 'The Tortured Poets Department' album. In the song, the chorus croons, "My boy only breaks his favorite toys, toys, oh, I’m queen of sand castles he destroys, oh, oh, Cause it fit too right, puzzle pieces in the dead of night, I should’ve known it was a matter of time, oh, oh."
During an interview with Amazon Music, Swift explained, "Being somebody’s favorite toy until they break you and then don’t want to play with you anymore. Which is how a lot of us are in relationships where we are so valued by a person in the beginning, and then all of the sudden, they break us or they devalue us in their mind."
She added, "We’re still clinging on to 'No no, no. You should’ve seen them the first time they saw me. They’ll come back to that. They’ll get back to that.'"
