LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift has reportedly taken legal action against Kanye West after the rapper launched into a vulgar, explicit tirade on social media, dragging the pop icon into his grievances with the music industry.

On April 10, West went on a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter), lashing out at Swift and other celebrities such as Beyonce, Harry Styles, and Madonna.

In the now-deleted posts, West claimed Swift contributed to the decline of his career, specifically citing her as a reason he was never chosen to perform at the Super Bowl.

“I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of three moments,” the rapper wrote, adding, “George Bush don't care about Black people. The Taylor Swift movement moment. Wearing a MAGA hat.”

He also tweeted about Swift's alleged sexual encounters with Justin Bieber and Harry Styles.

A source close to Swift confirmed to the Daily Mail that a cease and desist letter has been sent, describing the rant as “defamatory, harassing, and deeply inappropriate.”

“Kanye went too far this time,” the insider shared. “His claims are not just false—they’re defamatory. This isn’t just (West) gossiping. This is (West) sexually harassing a woman, defaming her, and trying to harm her and her career.”

The cease and desist is reportedly a final warning to West, demanding an immediate halt to any further public remarks about Swift, or further legal action will follow.

In his outburst, West also took jabs at Beyonce and Jay-Z, even making crude comments about their relationship. While he later posted a short-lived apology, it was quickly undercut by more posts, including false claims of past encounters with Madonna and Ashley Olsen.

Taylor Swift may be gearing up for a legal battle, and her fans are already behind her with full force. Reports that the pop megastar is considering suing Kanye West for alleged defamation have sparked an intense wave of support and passionate reactions from Swifties online.

One user wrote, “As she should!” Another user added, “Why wouldn't she? He tried to sabotage her career, made a music video with a naked wax figure of Taylor, and still constantly keeps harassing her. She better be taking every cent he has left.”

Fans didn't hold back. “MAKE HIM GO BANKRUPT TAYLOR,” one wrote, while another chimed in, “Hope she takes every cent he has left.”

“If Taylor’s suing Kanye for defamation, she has every right to. He’s spread lies, manipulated narratives, and disrespected her for years. She stayed silent, but now she’s standing up and it’s long overdue,” she commented.

And of course, Swifties showed support writing, “We stand with Taylor, of course.”
