Kanye West touts hefty amount he pays to Kim Kardashian in child support: ‘Just a reminder’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West’s rants on social media do not seem to be ending soon as he has once again taken aim at his former wife, Kim Kardashian.
Half an hour after midnight on Thursday, April 10, the rapper, also known as Ye, touted the whopping amount of money he gives to the reality star in child support for their four children — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
The two had been married from 2014 to 2022.

In a now-deleted tweet, he said, as per HotNewHipHop, “I pay 200K a month in child support Just a reminder.”
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finalized divorce in 2022
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West after six years of marriage in 2021, and in November 2022, the two reached a settlement. The record producer was ordered to pay $200,000 monthly for his children.
At the time, Jacqueline Newman, a managing partner of the New York divorce law firm Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP, told The Guardian, “Conceptually speaking, in settlements, you don’t want one rich parent and one poor parent. A settlement should equalize things.”
“High-income cases end up being a lifestyle analysis,” Newman added.
Internet believes staggering child support made Kanye West ‘crazy’

A person wrote, “200K in child support for a woman who’s a billionaire btw, the court system is against men.”
Another person shared, “Never understood this, so if someone can please explain it to me cause I’m actually confused. Why is child support even that much?? What does a child need for someone to be paying 2.4 million a year on?”
One wrote, “Child support should go to a bank account that requires both parents to make payments to. The court should have access to all those documents and transactions for the child as well.”
“And can’t even see his kids when he wants,” an individual posted.
A person said, “No wonder he went crazy.”
A comment read, “Child support should be based on the price of living in the area of the child. Not just take however much someone can afford.”
Kanye West says ‘sorry’ to Jay-Z

Meanwhile, Kanye West has apologized to Jay-Z after sharing inappropriate posts about the Roc Nation owner's two younger children recently.
Ye apologized to Jay Z for his disrespectful tweets, saying it was just “a moment” while still trying to justify the chaos. “I’m sorry, but you know I keep it real!” Classic Ye—mixing love and drama like it’s a new album drop! 🎤💔#YeApology #JayZ #HipHopDrama #KeepingItReal… pic.twitter.com/s7tT8kpG0p

The 55-year-old is the father of Blue Ivy Carter (12), and twins Rumi Carter (7), and Sir Carter.
He wrote, “I'm sorry Jay Z. I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real s**t none of these rap ni**as had my back.”
Last month, West had publicly questioned Jay-Z and Beyonce’s 7-year-old twins’ mental capacity.
