Ryan Murphy reveals Taylor Swift's heartfelt advice to Travis Kelce before acting debut in 'Grotesquerie'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift gave heartfelt advice to Travis Kelce before his acting debut in the horror drama 'Grotesquerie', to try acting if it interested him.
In a recent interview with E! News 'Grotesquerie' director, Ryan Murphy revealed what Swift told the NFL legend before his debut as an actor when he signed for a role in the FX series.
"The only thing that [Travis and I] talked about was that she's very supportive of him, and if he has an interest, she wanted him to try it," Murphy said at the 'Grotesquerie' premiere in New York on September 23.
"I was thrilled about that," the director, who also loves Swift, continued, saying all he heard were "sweet, lovely things" about the 'Bad Blood' singer.

Ryan Murphy praises Travis Kelce's commitment to his acting debut
The 'American Horror Story' creator showered praises on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's dedication to his latest venture as an actor.
Murphy, who produced the show besides being the director, claimed Kelce did not need any advice.
"A star is a star is a star—and he's a star," he said of the NFL player. "He's so charismatic, and he's so smart, he's lovely," Murphy went on. "He had a window of time. He asked me to work up something for him. I did. It was an honor."
The 34-year-old football player appeared alongside Niecy Nash on screen in the first episode of 'Grotesquerie'.
Murphy also hailed Kelce's commitment to the role and how he behaved on the set during filming. According to him, the two-time Super Bowl champion knew everyone's lines, was very disciplined, and displayed all the qualities one could desire.
Moreover, the 58-year-old director described Kelce as a "leader" who was very sweet and charming, noting that he was always the first to arrive on set and the last to leave, with a great team surrounding him.

Ryan Murphy, who watched in first person Travis Kelce's evolution as an actor from an NFL player, vouched for his abilities to prosper on the silver screen. He recounted an incident during the shooting to substantiate how Taylor Swift's boyfriend of one year worked to overcome his fears in front of the camera.

According to Murphy, Kelce was scary at the start. One day, he had to rewrite an entire scene, and the Chiefs' star memorized the new script in ten minutes.
"It was letter perfect. Like, he's very, very smart, and he's got something important," the director gushed.
Murphy also appeared sure of Kelce's talents to achieve big as an actor in Hollywood.
"If Travis Kelce wants to be a big movie star, he could do it," Murphy said "You can see in the show, he can act. And he's talented. The world is his oyster. He can do anything."
The first two episodes of 'Grotesquerie' premiered on September 25 on FX.
