However, social media users are dubbing the Chiefs tight end star a 'nepo boyfriend,' suggesting that his acting role is a result of his relationship with the music icon.

The eerie first-look clip offers a chilling glimpse into the new horror drama, featuring Niecy Nash-Betts as Detective Lois Tryon alongside a fleeting appearance by Kelce in an undisclosed role. 

Fans are buzzing with speculation and intrigue after catching a brief but captivating look at the NFL star's involvement in the unsettling series.

Travis Kelce makes a brief cameo in ‘Grotesquerie’ teaser

The NFL star, who has been dating Taylor Swift — one of the most prominent figures in the entertainment industry — since last summer, makes a brief appearance in 'Grotesquerie’ teaser released on Thursday, August 15.

The trailer features unsettling visuals, including religious crosses, a figure attacking victims with a hammer, a meat grinder, and a pool of boiling water.

Niecy Nash-Betts, who stars in the horror series, is heard saying, "I don't know how it started. It's like a hole opened up in the world to the center of nothingness."

Towards the end of the clip, the three-time Super Bowl champion makes a fleeting appearance, waving his hands in front of his face.

The 10-episode series, created by the co-creator of 'Glee' and 'American Horror Story', is slated for a September release and follows a detective investigating a series of gruesome crimes.

While Kelce’s role remains under wraps, he previously shared his experience on set, admitting he feels like an "amateur," as per Deadline.

In a May episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, he described the experience as "so much fun" but confessed he felt like a "jabroni" and was relieved not to have been fired yet.

"They haven’t told me to f**king kick rocks after the first week. I don’t want to give away too much about the plot," he said, describing the series as "quite a mystery." 

He praised the cast and crew for their support, noting how they’ve helped him feel comfortable and guided him through his scenes, as per DailyMail.

"Everybody's just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable and giving me the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray this part. I'm just taking it scene-by-scene and making sure I remember my lines ... I'm very amateur at this".

Kelce also shared his excitement about working with Murphy, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and noting how he’s "blown away" by the chance to take on such a significant role. 

"I can’t thank him enough for this opportunity," he said, acknowledging how many actors would dream of working with Murphy. "I’m getting it in my first gig ever ... hopefully I don't f**k it up," he added with a laugh.
