LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce, accustomed to the spotlight whether traveling the world with girlfriend Taylor Swift or captivating football fans with his talent on the field, turned down an offer for a Netflix reality series.

Fans came to know about this when Kelce was questioned about his thoughts on joining the Netflix reality series 'Receiver'.

Netflix's upcoming series 'Receiver' will feature five of NFL’s top receivers during the 2023 season, both on and off the field: Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, according to an official announcement.

The series will debut on July 10 with eight episodes.

During a recent appearance on the 'Bussin’ With The Boys' podcast, Kelce was asked what he thought about joining Netflix's upcoming reality series 'Receiver', which is a follow-up of their 2023 show 'Quarterback' featuring Kelce's teammate and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

"After Pat did it, I did get asked about it. I don’t know. I’d rather just play ball, man. I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything," Kelce remarked about being approached for the show, as per People.

"I’m way over the reality s**t. I’m out on that s**t", he added. Kelce's reluctance toward reality TV might stem from his earlier experience on the dating show 'Catching Kelce', which aired on E! in 2016.

Kelce humorously recalled his time on the show while hosting 'Saturday Night Live' in March 2023, saying, "It was kind of like 'The Bachelor', except instead of roses I handed out footballs. And instead of watching, people did not. It was a little embarrassing, but I got really good at reality TV."

While Kelce has moved on from reality TV, he has eagerly embraced scripted television. He will be making his acting debut in the upcoming Ryan Murphy horror drama 'Grotesquerie'.
