WASHINGTON, DC: Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) appeared on Fox News on Wednesday to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris over a fabricated ban created by the network.

“Her record is extraordinarily radical. Let me say at the outset, Kamala can’t have my guns, she can’t have my gasoline engine and she sure as hell can’t have my steaks and cheeseburgers,” Cruz proclaimed to Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Right-wing media sparks outrage against Kamala Harris' stance on red meat

Sean Hannity, who has repeatedly and falsely claimed that the Joe Biden administration intends to take away Americans' red meat, eagerly joined Ted Cruz in criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris has previously supported modifying dietary guidelines to recommend reduced consumption of red meat, but no such ban exists.

Nevertheless, an account associated with the Republican National Committee and the Donald Trump campaign circulated a 2019 clip of Harris, suggesting she aimed to ban “CERTAIN BEHAVIORS, like eating red meat.”

Since Biden exited the race on July 21, Democrats have swiftly rallied behind Kamala Harris. She now has just over 100 days to demonstrate her candidacy to voters before the November 5 election.

However, Harris seems to be off to a strong start, raising $81 million within 24 hours of Biden's endorsement.

Netizens wasted no time in roasting Ted Cruz for his baseless claims

Internet users reacted strongly to Ted Cruz's recent criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris over her stance on red meat consumption.

A social media user tweeted, "So once again, no policies just ridiculous comments. This America is a United States senator."

Another said, "Nobody wants @tedcruz guns, gasoline engines and especially his overdone steaks and burgers." [sic]

A claimed, "What she will do is take care of your constituents, during a natural disaster, when you flee to Cancun." [sic]

"They've really got nothing," asserted an individual.

"Clearly, nothing comes between Ted Cruz and his steaks and cheeseburgers," read a tweet.

"Just the most unserious people," remarked an individual.

"He could go without a few cheeseburgers and skip driving and go for a walk," mocked a user.

"Hopefully, she won’t take away his ability to flee Texas at the first sign of trouble. However, I’m perfectly fine with her not allowing him back!" highlighted a user.

"It’s like a child yelling at his mommy he wants chips and soda!!!" mocked another.
