LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Teddi Mellencamp revealed on Instagram that doctors discovered multiple brain tumors after she experienced severe headaches for weeks.

She expressed gratitude for the medical team and her loved ones, including her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, who stayed by her side.

Teddi Mellencamp's family support amid marital separation

Despite announcing their divorce in November 2023 after 13 years of marriage, Edwin Arroyave rushed to Teddi Mellencamp’s side with their children, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, four.

In the caption, Arroyave wrote, "Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise."

"Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body," he added.

"Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus' name, Amen," he shared.

Inside Teddi Mellencamp's emotional hospital moments

In a video shared on Instagram Stories, Edwin Arroyave documented tender moments with their youngest daughter, Dove, who insisted on staying with her mother.

On February 13, Teddi Mellencamp took to Instagram to share update about her condition.

"For the last several weeks I've been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization," she wrote.

"Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today. The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date," she shared.

Teddi Mellencamp’s battle with health and marriage struggles

Teddi Mellencamp’s health crisis follows years of battling skin cancer, undergoing 16 procedures since her stage II melanoma diagnosis in 2022.

Meanwhile, her marriage with Edwin Arroyave had faced strain, with Mellencamp reflecting on their relationship struggles and therapy attempts.

Teddi Mellencamp’s friend and podcast co-host Tamra Judge requested prayers from fans, noting Mellencamp’s passion for their podcast 'Two T's In a Pod.'

Judge assured listeners that Mellencamp would return to share her journey when ready, according to Daily Mail.

Speaking about the support from her family, friends, and nurses, Mellencamp wrote, "I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.
