OAK ISLAND, NORTH CAROLINA: Former 'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans has raised some shocking allegations against her estranged spouse David Eason in her divorce filing.

As per the recently released court records, Jenelle has requested complete custody of her seven-year-old daughter Ensley on the grounds of her being the primary caregiver and that David's "erratic behavior" is creating a "negative environment" for their children at home.

According to The US Sun, the former 'Teen Mom' star, 32, filed for divorce from her husband David, 35, citing his alleged "erratic" conduct, drug problems, and "refusal" to work. As per the mother-of-three, they officially separated on February 16, and the divorce filing entered into court on February 23.

Jenelle addressed several concerns in their relationship in the court complaint she filed, such as her husband's apparent admission of killing their pet dog, Nugget, in 2019 and his claims of allegedly strangling her 14-year-old son, Jace.

Jenelle Evans claims she has been 'solely responsible' for meeting the needs of her youngest daughter Ensley

In the lawsuit, Jenelle, as the Plaintiff, claimed that she "is a fit and proper person to have primary physical custody of the minor child."

The court documents further read, "It is in the best interest of the minor child that plaintiff be granted primary physical custody of the minor child and that defendant's visitation and or custodial time be predicated on a mental health assessment to ensure his fitness and ability to care for the minor child," as per The US Sun.

Jenelle maintained that she had been Ensley's "primary caregiver" her whole life. "The plaintiff [Jenelle] has always been, and continues to be an engaged parent who devotes her time, energy, effort, and resources to her family," stated the court documents.

They added, "At nearly all times, plaintiff has been responsible for the minor child's daily needs and has been the only parent who researched, evaluated, selected and followed through with the minor child's doctor's treatment providers, extracurricular and enrichment activities."

"After the separation of the parties, defendant was aware that the minor child had a medical appointment with an ear, nose, and throat doctor and that it would likely be that the minor child would need surgery. Defendant and made no inquiries as to the child's well-being, treatment plan, or status of the appointment," claimed the documents.

The mother-of-three mentioned that has been "solely responsible for ensuring the minor child is dressed, fed, and ready for school" ever since she ousted David from their shared home and that she "almost always transported the minor child to and from school and her extracurricular activities."

Jenelle Evans has been in long custody battles with her previous partners over her two older children

In 2010, Jenelle made her TV debut on MTV's '16 and Pregnant' as a senior in high school expecting her first child, Jace Vahn Evans, whom she gave birth to on August 2, 2009, at the age of 17.

At the time, the reality TV star was still dating his first child's father, Andrew Lewis. However, the couple separated shortly after Jace was born, and Andrew didn't want to be involved in raising their son.

Having said that, Jenelle was only able to get full custody of Jace in March 2023, following a 13-year separation and a prolonged custody battle, as per PEOPLE Magazine.

On January 24, 2017, Jenelle and her estranged spouse David Eason, whom she married in September 2017, welcomed their daughter, Ensley Jolie Eason.
