LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Edwards, the stars of MTV fame 'Teen Mom', will remain married despite filing for divorce a year ago.

The court dismissed their case on Monday, February 19, due to a lack of action from either party.

The court says nothing was filed in 270 days

According to court documents obtained by Us Sun, the judge ordered the case to be dismissed without prejudice, meaning it can be reopened within 30 days.

“It is ordered by the court that this case be, and the same is hereby dismissed, without prejudice, with the cost taxed against the plaintiff," the court documents, cited by the outlet, read.

A clerk for Hamilton County told the outlet that the case was dismissed on procedural grounds as there was no final decree and nothing was filed.

“There was never a Final Decree on this case. It sat for over 270 days with nothing filed so it was dismissed on Procedural Steps,” the clerk noted.

The parties have 30 days from the order to reopen the case or it will remain dismissed, according to the clerk.

He was spotted with Mackenzie outside the rehab facility in August 2023.

During the 'Teen Mom: The Next Chapter' reunion in October 2023, Ryan claimed that he and Mackenzie were still in the process of divorcing, but he was not sure if that was what she wanted.

He said he still loved her and wanted to work things out. However, Mackenzie shut down the rumors of a possible reconciliation on social media.

She shared a photo of her family without Ryan and responded to a fan who asked if she wanted Ryan back. She wrote, “Um no," Us Weekly noted.
