KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton proved himself a hero on and off the field during Sunday’s thrilling victory over the Carolina Panthers.

As players exited the stadium following their 30-27 win on November 24, a young fan leaned too far over a railing, losing his balance and tumbling head-first toward the ground, as reported by People.

The Chiefs' victory over the Panthers marked their 10th win of the season, cementing their position at the top of the NFL with a 10-1 record, tied with the Detroit Lions. The team’s only loss so far came on November 17 in a 21-30 defeat against the Buffalo Bills.
