Teyana Taylor claims Iman Shumpert cut off wifi and water supply of their home amid divorce battle
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Teyana Taylor has brought new allegations against her estranged husband Iman Shumpert amid their divorce battle.
The singer and the former basketball player got married in 2016 and welcomed two daughters — Iman "Junie" Tayla Shumpert Jr and Rue Rose Shumpert -- over the years.
Teyana Taylor earlier said she and Iman Shumpert are ‘best of friends’
But in 2023, they reportedly decided to go their separate ways, and in an online post, Taylor shared, “In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.”

“We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT,” she mentioned at the time.

But now, it seems things have changed for the worse because the 33-year-old actress accused Shumpert of cutting off all basic supplies in the Georgia home, where she and their two children live, TMZ reported.
As per a court filing submitted in the court by Taylor’s lawyers, she found that suddenly there was no WiFi and cable connection.

Soon after that, the water connection was also taken down and now she fears the athlete might discontinue electricity and gas supply. The attorney has reportedly requested the court to set a standing order in place until the duo's divorce is finalized.
This came as earlier ‘The Book of Clarence’ star claimed that Shumpert failed to pay child support.
In her court filing, she reportedly alleged, “[Shumpert] consistently fails to properly care for the minor children including but not limited to failing to feed them despite being in the Martial Residence with the minor children, smoking marijuana, and being under the influence while caring for the minor children, and placing the minor children in a rideshare in Chicago which resulted in the minor children being dropped off at the United Center in the general population while he utilized the services of a private driver.”
Taylor added, “[Shumpert] consistently demonstrates a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children.”
‘He shows how low and petty he is willing to be’
Meanwhile, some people have taken to Facebook to comment on Taylor and Shumpert’s war.
A person wrote, Come on now! I pray that they get it together! They have two beautiful daughters. They had a beautiful relationship that I so admired! They're honestly just going off of hurt and need to stop.”
Another person shared, “This shows his character. Make it hard for him when this gets settled in court. I’m sure everything is back on and in here now. But he shows how low and petty he is willing to be.”
“She needs to move her kids out of that house and situation...I'm sure that money would be worth it for their safety as a priority...😟,” a user added.
