LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The internet is abuzz with reactions after Fox News Host Jesse Watters took aim at Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, citing a notable setback in her ongoing legal proceedings.

In a segment, Watters remarked, "Fani Willis is having a tough week. Loverboy quit the Trump case, the judge is letting his team appeal his decision to keep her on, and now her star witness in a separate RICO case was too stoned to testify."

Witness's admittance of being under the influence amplifies scrutiny in Young Thug RICO trial

According to newsweek, The focal point of this criticism stems from recent developments in a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) trial involving rapper Young Thug and the alleged YSL street gang.

Adrian Bean, a key witness for the prosecution, made headlines when he openly admitted to being under the influence while testifying in court.

I'm so high right now, y'all I'm about to go to sleep on y'all," Bean confessed, requesting water while testifying, as reported by Fox News.

Bean, who was called to testify by the prosecution, has been a central figure in the trial since February 29, shedding light on events surrounding an armed robbery, a shooting, and a car chase in September 2013.

These incidents allegedly involved Young Thug, also known as Jeffrey Williams, and other defendants, with Bean supposedly serving as the getaway driver. However, Bean's testimony has been muddled by his repeated claims of memory loss and his recent admission of being under the influence.

Legal battle unveils diverging narratives surrounding young slime life and YSL label

Willis' indictment against Williams and 27 others, under the RICO statute, paints a picture of Young Slime Life as an Atlanta-based street gang affiliated with the national Bloods gang. Yet, Williams' defense argues that YSL merely refers to his record label, Young Stoner Life.

The trial, which commenced in November, has been fraught with challenges, including a lengthy jury selection process lasting ten months. Amidst this, Bean's credibility as a witness took a significant blow when he broke down during cross-examination, alleging threats and harassment after his personal information was disclosed in court.

"I don't remember nothing from 2013, I keep telling y'all that," Bean stated emphatically, expressing frustration over his inability to recall key details, as reported by Fox News.

Bean's struggles with memory recall have been attributed to his past substance abuse issues, with him admitting to a history of drug use and its adverse effects on his memory. Despite attempts by prosecutors to link Williams to the incidents in 2013, Bean's unreliable testimony has posed a significant challenge.

"Since I straightened my life out after coming home from prison, everything had just been wiped blank," Bean revealed, suggesting that his memory lapses were a result of his efforts to turn his life around, as reported by Fox News.
