"Happy birthday to the goddess that is @taylorswift," she wrote, accompanying a mirror snapshot of the two. "I love you."

The shared photo was reportedly captured the previous Friday night when the close friends had dinner with Zoe Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and Anya Taylor-Joy at a restaurant in Brooklyn, following Ramy Youssef's comedy show, per Page Six. 

In the selfie taken by Swift, Gomez is seen smiling broadly as Swift plants a kiss on her cheek.

Swift sported festive green and red nails, while Gomez wore a "B" ring, a symbol of her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, which she has been flaunting since their relationship was confirmed.

Swift, the artist behind the hit 'Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version)', began her birthday festivities a day early on Tuesday night.

The pop icon had dinner at the popular restaurant Zero Bond in New York City with Gomez, Miles Teller, and his wife, Keleigh Sperry.

Instead of attending the Time magazine's gala that evening, she reportedly chose to enjoy their evening get-together, even though she was honored as the Person of the Year by the magazine on December 6.
