'The Kardashians' Season 6 teaser dubbed 'dull' by unimpressed fans who promised to boycott series
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Love them or hate them, the Kardashians know how to make headlines—but their latest announcement appears to have left fans less than thrilled.
Season 6 of 'The Kardashians' is officially set to premiere on February 6, and the teaser trailer was released with all the glam you’d expect from the first family of reality TV. Yet, the excitement isn’t exactly mutual judging by fan reactions.
'The Kardashians' Season 6 to premiere on February 6
The trailer, shared on the Kardashians-Jenners’ social media accounts, featured the famous sisters—Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie—as well as their momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner.
The family stood dramatically in gold-framed paintings in what appeared to be a grand museum before stepping out of the frames as the tagline declared, “Boundaries are made to be broken.”
The announcement read, “Season 6 of #TheKardashians premieres February 6 on @hulu and Disney+ internationally,” alongside the teaser video.

While the family’s signature flair for drama was on full display, it wasn’t enough to win over critics.
Fans unimpressed by 'The Kardashians' Season 6 teaser
Shortly after the teaser hit the internet, viewers took to Reddit to share their brutally honest opinions about it—and it wasn’t pretty.
“They need to take a hard look at these and realize it’s over for them and they need to quit,” one commented.
“How are they still relevant enough for a new season? More fights, plastic surgery, someone having a new baby, cancer scare? What new level of hell are they going to dig deeper to reach?” another wondered.
“I seriously had no clue this show was still on. Time to mix it up, ladies. Try something new. I don’t think anybody cares about you anymore," someone else added. "Maybe the ratings will prove me wrong?"
“Boundaries are made. To be broken. But we won’t. Because we are dull af,” read a comment.
Another unimpressed fan chimed in, “This is so corny. Go girl, give us nothing.”
Even the tagline came under fire. “What a s***** tagline lol. That screams ‘toxic family.’ Why advertise it that way?” one asked, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
What to expect from Season 6 of 'The Kardashians'?
Despite the backlash, Hulu and Disney+ are betting big on the new season. The official logline promises plenty of drama.
“The Kardashian-Jenners return with a year full of challenges, milestones, and new adventures," it says. "With uncertain futures and their past returning to haunt them, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris will have to rely on each other as they navigate their roles as moms and businesswomen to overcome the obstacles that come with their increasingly complicated lives.”
Viewers can expect a deeper dive into the family’s personal and professional lives, exploring everything from motherhood to their high-stakes business ventures.
The teaser hints at the usual mix of emotional family turmoil and high-glam escapades that fans either can’t get enough of—or are totally over.
Having said that, 'The Kardashians' remains a juggernaut in the world of reality TV. Season 5 — which premiered on May 23, 2024 — became Hulu and Disney’s most-watched unscripted series premiere of the year in its first four days of streaming.
Armed with a production dream team led by Ben Winston ('The Late Late Show with James Corden'), Emma Conway, and Elizabeth Jones, along with showrunner Danielle King, the Kardashian-Jenner family continues to pull strings both on-camera and behind the scenes as executive producers, according to Deadline.
