‘The only one’: Amber Rose reflects on her bygone relationships and praises Machine Gun Kelly for apologizing after breakup

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amber Rose, the model, recently reflected on her past relationships, including those with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West.

She singled out rapper Machine Gun Kelly, her ex-boyfriend, for his respectful behavior following their 2015 split.

Rose shared some insights about her past relationships in a recent episode of 'The Jason Lee Show'.

She said Machine Gun Kelly, also known as 'MGK' was the only one who came to her to apologize for not treating her fairly. 

“Out of all of my relationships, besides my ex-husband, he was the only one that apologized to me,” Rose said.

“He was the only one that came up to me and said, ‘Amber, you know what, you were one of the best girlfriends I ever had and you didn’t deserve to be treated that way.’ The only one,” she narrated

"So shout-out to you, MGK," the 40-year-old added. 

Machine Gun Kelly's perspective on dating Amber Rose 

MGK dated the model and activist from April to June 2015. He had his own set of challenges while dating Rose.

He once shared his experiences in a 'Hot97' interview, “I had no idea what came with [Rose's lifestyle],” he said in May 2015, sometime before their split was made public.

“I’d be lying if I didn’t say that it’s not like a struggle every day doubled with the fact that it is like one of the most anti-spotlight people ever and one of the most in-the-spotlight people ever," he said, as per E! Online.

Rose also took the time to reflect on her other past relationships during her recent interview.

She briefly touched upon her relationship with Kanye West, whom she dated from 2008 to 2010.

“Kanye, you know, we had our s***, I was young,” she said. "But I can’t fully blame everything on him."

In addition, Amber spoke about her 2021 breakup with Alexander 'AE' Edwards, who had admitted to cheating on her with 12 women during their three-year relationship.

“I think when you’re dealing with a narcissist in a relationship, you feel like you’re absolutely crazy. You’re doing things that are out of character,” Rose said. “I can look back now and be like, ‘Why did I give a f***?’”

Rose first gained attention during her relationship with Kanye West from 2008 to 2010.

She later became involved with rapper 21 Savage. In 2013, she wed Wiz Khalifa, and they have an 11-year-old son named Sebastian together.

The couple divorced in 2016. Additionally, Rose has a four-year-old son named Slash with music executive Alexander 'AE' Edwards, who is currently in a relationship with Cher, according to People.
