NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the Monday, June 24, episode of ABC's 'The View,' the hosts criticized former President Donald Trump's campaign spokesperson for alleging that the June 27 debate unfairly favors President Joe Biden during a CNN interview.

The said CNN interview was in the limelight recently, especially for anchor Kasie Hunt abruptly ending the interview with a Trump spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, after she repeatedly used the segment on debate preparation to attack Hunt's colleagues, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

'The View' co-host Ana Navarro calls out Donald Trump's team for making excuses

On the show, Ana Navarro, one of the co-hosts, accused Trump's campaign team of making excuses.

"They're saying the debate is rigged and the interviewers are biased," Navarro said. "You know what it sounds to me? Sounds like the people who call folks snowflakes are snowflakes. It sounds to me like somebody's running a little scared, chicken."

'The View' co-host Sara Haines suggested that Karoline Leavitt's claims are a preemptive tactic to deflect any criticisms of Trump's debate performance.

"Even when they do well, they say 'I'm going to lose' just in case," Haines remarked.

In a statement to Newsweek, Leavitt maintained that the interview demonstrates Trump will not receive fair treatment at the debate.

"CNN cutting off my microphone for bringing up a debate moderator's history of anti-Trump lies just proves our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly in Thursday's debate," Leavitt said.

"Yet President Trump is still willing to go into this 3-1 fight to bring his winning message to the American people, and he will win."

Alyssa Farah Griffin says Trump's team preemptively framing debate as rigged

'The View' host Alyssa Farah Griffin concurred with Haines, suggesting that the Trump team is preemptively framing the debate as rigged in case it goes poorly.

"I think that they're setting the stage for if the debate goes poorly to say it was rigged, these moderators were against us and frankly to try to get out of the next ABC one," Griffin explained.

Griffin also criticized the interview as a missed opportunity to discuss Trump's political platform.

"It underscored a stunning lack of message discipline," Griffin stated. "You're a campaign spokesperson. You should be there to talk about Trump's proactive agenda for the American people, how does he want to build the middle class or secure the border, but she can't."

Co-host Sunny Hostin praised Hunt's handling of the interview.

"She was being fair to the truth," Hostin said. "She was trying to get the facts, [Leavitt] instead wanted to, sort of, it was ad hominem attacks. And when that happens, you cut the mic and that's what she did."

Internet reacts as 'The View' hosts denounce Donald Trump's campaign spokesperson

Many viewers of 'The View' supported the hosts' criticism of Trump's campaign spokesperson for alleging that the June 27 debate unfairly favors Biden.

A viewer expressed, "What do kindergarteners think about it? What about kangaroos?"

In a similar fashion, another observer added, "Everything that doesn’t go his way is unfair according to him."

Furthermore, a viewer pointed out, "Propaganda detected."

Joining the discussion, a follower shared, "Snowflakes gonna whine whine whine."

Delving deeper into the topic, an individual elaborated, "They’re trying to find a way to bail the debate."
