NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The criminal conviction of former President Donald Trump sparked such excitement in Joy Behar, the co-host of ABC's 'The View', that she had an accident while shopping at Costo.

Although 'The View' typically doesn't film live on Fridays, all the hosts convened on the day to discuss Trump's guilty verdict in his Manhattan hush money trial.

Joy Behar says she was 'leaking a little bit' after Trump's verdict announcement

"I was at Costco buying 10 boxes of Keurig coffee," Behar shared with viewers after the panel mocked Trump's claims of innocence and victimhood, pointing out that he was convicted for his actions and that the trial was not a result of political maneuvering by the Biden administration.

"My watch started to buzz, and I got so excited, I started leaking a little bit," Behar added.

Whoopi Goldberg kicked off the show with enthusiasm, announcing, "Yes, I’m here on a Friday, because this is a very unique moment in history."

The crowd cheered as she continued, "That’s why we’re all at the table. I’m going to say something you’ve never, ever heard me say before: Donald John Trump is a convicted felon."

Reportedly, following over nine hours of deliberations spanning two days, the Manhattan jury delivered a guilty verdict against Trump for falsifying business records. This verdict was in connection to a case involving a hush money payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign.

Panelists on 'The View' react to Trump's guilty verdict

Alyssa Farrah Griffin, the sole non-liberal voice on the panel, expressed her expectation of the outcome but admitted being "somehow shocked" by the guilty verdict.

Griffin, who previously served in Trump's White House as director of strategic communications, shared her concern for the safety of the judge and jury, given the current climate of violent political rhetoric.

Reflecting on Trump's demeanor, Griffin remarked, "Knowing Donald Trump, there’s something in him that thinks he’s untouchable. I don’t think he thought it was going to come down this way."

Responding to Trump's claim of a rigged trial, Goldberg asserted, "He was in that courtroom because of what he did, and those jurors were chosen by both sides."

"This was not a Biden thing. Had he just paid the money to Stormy Daniels, he would have been fine. If he hadn't tried to sneak some checks, he would have been fine, but he didn't do that. Instead he was cheap, and that's what you get."

Ana Navarro expressed gratitude to Stormy Daniels for the trial's outcome, though she characterized it as a "somber day." "I can't believe where we are in our democracy," she lamented.

Sarah Haines described feeling like she'd been punched in the chest upon learning of the guilty verdict. "It was somber news because we're living in a country where we have a former president convicted and who's also running for office," she said.

Trump’s conviction on 34 felony counts marks the end of the former president’s historic hush money trial, but the fight over the case is far from over.

Controversy erupts over Joy Behar's candid moment

As much as Joy Behar's idea of sharing the candid moment of excitement struck a cord on 'The View', others from the online community had a different take, calling it "gross".

A viewer expressed, "Good thing she was wearing her diaper."

Following suit, another observer added, "What a disgusting woman."

Additionally, a viewer pointed out, "That's a gross thought."

One person contributed, "I suspect she wets herself in Costco quite regularly tbh."

A comment underscored, "They were very unprofessional."

Another comment echoed, "That's okay she wears diapers, if not, Costco sells them by the bulk."

An individual elaborated further, saying, "These liberals are sick in the head. Filled with hate."
